川村隆（かわむら たかし） 3年生のレギュラーながら、他のメンバーに比べて実力は劣る。入部したのは3年になってから。シングルスが得意だが、秀介とダブルスを組むことが多い。シングルスには、越前リョーマ、御城武、国光隆といった選手がよく出場している。
川村隆は、紳士的なところもあるが、ラケットを持つと性格が変わる。英語が混じり、声も大きくなり、好戦的になる。アニメのシーンでは、ガラケーを持つことが求められることが多い川村さん。
東京予選には、川村隆の姿もあった。山村周介とペアを組み、東京都決勝で逸見田哲（不動峰中）と対戦したが、哲の波動球に激しく打ち込まれ、腕を骨折してリタイアした。東京都大会のダブルスにも出場。決勝で山吹中学校と対戦し、敗れた。
1回戦では、氷帝学園の関東大会の相手、嘉智隆弘と対戦。両者とも打撲傷を負った後、波動球で勝負することになった。全国大会では四天宝寺中学校の石田銀と対戦。波動球の質の高さに圧倒されたが、それでも試合には勝てた。最後の一発で石田の腕を折り、勝利を収めた。
